An ingredient in curry spice called curcumin can help prevent diabetes, says the journal Diabetes Care. The study which took nine month to complete demonstrated that over that period of time a person taking daily dosage of curcumin, who is predisposed to getting diabetes did not: it looked at individuals with abnormally high blood sugar level, who are most at risk of coming down with diabetes.
