Five Firefighters Injured

On Monday five firefighters were injured trying to put out a fire at 54 N. Sixth Street. Two firefighters were in search of a child; unfortunately the ceiling had collapsed and injured their backs; there was no child to be found.
The other two firefighters experienced dehydration and one complained of back pain.
The firefighters were sent to St. Joseph’s Medical Center for Treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
