Paterson Officer Tackles Gunman

Jamere Coleman, a former inmate who was released last month, was arrested — he was caught with 2-hand guns in his possession near Presidential Boulevard.
Two officers were responding to a call when they spotted Mr Coleman, who upon seeing the officers tried to flee by climbing one of the walls of the Riverview Towers but was unsuccessful. An officer named Michael Urena tackled the suspect and brought him into custody.
Coleman served almost 2-years on a previous gun related charge.
