We have reported on a fence proposal around John F. Kennedy High School to provide better security for the students attending that school. Majority of residents that live around Kennedy, and elsewhere in Paterson disliked the idea, among them were large number of city council members. But, since yesterday, it was reported by a smaller newspaper, the fence is going up.

Board of Education is unaware and incompetent of the recent happenings on the ground and says it did not go ahead with the fence plan: it is going ahead without the board’s approval.

The community around the school were also kept in the dark of  fence going up around their biggest school.
