North 4th Street resident shot inside his home

Little after midnight on Thursday, a gun man stormed into the home of a 20-year-old resident of North 4th Street, leaving the victim fatally wounded.
The victim was in his bedroom when the gun man entered his home; when he walked out of his bedroom, the gunman saw and shot him in the chest; after which the gunman ran out through the front door into the street and disappeared.
The wounded man was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center where he is being treated.
Police say they doubt the victim knew the suspect, and are seeking public help to find the suspect: anyone with information is asked to dial 973-321-1342.
