Man shot in the leg near Rosa Parks Blvd

During the early morning hours on Friday, around 5am, a man was shot in the leg near the streets of Lawrence Place & Rosa Parks Boulevard. Paterson Police received calls from locals about shoots being fired in the area.
The victim was walking on Rosa Parks Blvd when a male wearing a dark hoodie approached; the victim inquired, “What’s up?” At that moment the suspect fired a shot injuring the victim.
Police are seeking public assistance to track down the suspect — anyone with information is being urged to call 973-321-1342.
