Friday night little before midnight, a 20-year-old resident of the city ventured outside on Governor Street, one of the most violent avenues in Paterson, where he was shot in the leg after he resisted two gunman’s demand for his possessions.

The gunmen wearing dark hoodies approached the Carroll Street resident and demanded he hand over money and everything else he had on him of value, the man hesitated and delayed, that is when one of the robbers shot him in the leg compelling him to give up all his belongings.

Paterson Police are investigating the incident.
