On Monday, thirty-minutes after midnight, a man was walking by himself near East 22nd Street, when a group of three assailant attacked him.

The man, 39-year-old, was brutally beaten by the three , who are bring described as all males of Hispanic extraction; the victim had cuts on his face, and had bruises on his body. After beating up the man, the three assailants snatched all his valuables including his wallet before fleeing the scene.

Often residents of the city return from work during late hours, and sometimes become victims of those indolent bunch who make a living out of parasitically preying on the hard-working individuals of a society.

Paterson Police are investigating the incident.
