A man was walking down Lyon Street, at around 2am on Friday morning, when he was approached by a gunman who demanded everything he had; the victim put up a struggle not yet noticing the assailant’s gun.

During the ensuing struggle the suspect pulled out a gun, and shot the victim on the leg. After shooting the man, the gunman fled. When police responded to the scene they found the wounded man lying on the street.

Paterson Police are investigating the incident.
