Man stabbed and robbed on Broadway

A man who was walking on Broadway sometimes after 1am on Tuesday walked into a snare. Another man, hit him over the head with what appears to be a baseball bat or some other object, and once the victim fell to the ground, the suspect stabbed him.
After the man, 38-year-old, fell to the ground, the suspect stabbed him, and left with all his possessions: wallet, cellphone, and accessories. Broadway is one of the most violent streets in Paterson especially during the night when such things are common place.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Paterson Police are investigating the incident.
