Two men, who were driving on 10th Avenue and East 22nd Street, saw two females walking on the same street, little before 3am on Saturday; the driver of the vehicle pulled the car over, and addressed one of the two females.

As they were speaking to the two females, two other men approached, one of whom had a gun. An argument began between the two groups of men, and one of the two new arrivals pulled out a weapon, and began shooting at the driver side of the vehicle leaving a man, 23-year-old wounded in the shoulder.

The victim, who is a resident of North Bergen, for some strange reason, had the driver of the vehicle transport him to his home in that same town; a family member transported the wounded man to a hospital in North Bergen for treatment.

Paterson Police is investigating the incident.
