2 snatching incidents near 3rd and 4th Avenues

Two muggings that targeted women in Paterson’s northern quarter has compelled authorities to warn women to be careful when outside in the surrounding areas of 3rd and 4th Avenues.
During the memorial day weekend two incidents were reported where a hoodied man approached unsuspecting women from behind, grabbed their chains, and ran off with it without looking back. Both incidents happened in the broad-day light during the afternoon of Saturday and Sunday.
Paterson Police are investigating the incidents.
