Police seek suspect in West Broadway violent robbery

A video was released earlier today of two men viciously beating another near West Broadway by Paterson Police in an effort to arrest the one remaining suspect.
On Monday at around 3:27am two individuals attacked a man on West Broadway near Union Avenue; the suspects violently separated the victim’s belongings out of his pocket. Towards the end of the video, 3 people, one of the suspect, and 2 bystanders are scampering away from the scene, after hearing or seeing a police car, while one man continues to punch away at the victim. That man, Victor Torres, 33, of Belmont Avenue, was apprehended by police at the scene. Juan Rodriguez, a police officer, bravely arrested Mr Torres at the scene.
Police are seeking help in arresting the second man who is seen taunting the victim with a smart phone and then stepping on his throat as Mr Torres savagely beats him. Authorities are also seeking information about the two individuals who are watching as a fellow human being is being savagely attacked.
