59-year-old mugged on Madison Avenue

A man who was outside talking on his phone in Madison Avenue was assaulted and mugged by four men on Tuesday evening, according to Paterson Police.
The victim, 59-year-old, was standing outside a home on Madison Avenue at around 9:18pm on Tuesday, when a group of four men approached him. The assailants beat the man to the ground before robbing him of his possessions: cash and personal documents.
The 59-year-old did not sustain any serious injuries; police are investigating the incident.
