An individual was in his vehicle driving on Trenton Avenue early Friday morning when a woman, who appeared to be distressed, flagged down his vehicle, and dropped him at knife-point, according to Paterson Police.

The victim, 30-year-old, was driving a sedan, at around 2 a.m. on Friday, when he was signaled to stop by a woman who looked as if she needed assistant. The driver, stopped, and the female suspect pulled out a knife, held it close to his neck and threatened him to get out of the vehicle. The man complied with the demands, and the suspect climbed onto the car, and drove away.

Police later recovered the vehicle which was illegally parked at the corner of Market and East 23rd Streets with the key still in the ignition; the vehicle was towed. $500 worth of the victim’s money was gone from the car; however, his wallet and cellphone were found untouched inside the car.
