A man was assaulted while walking near Levine Street last night, according to Paterson Police Department.
The victim, 18-year-old, was walking near Levine and Main Streets, at around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, when two suspects approached him, one of them pointed a gun at him, and demanded everything he had. The victim put up a struggle which forced the suspects to beat him to the ground, leading to the victim sustaining injuries.
Some minutes later the victim arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, bleeding from face and head, seeking medical care. He informed police of the incident, and said the suspects were unable to take his belongings.
