27-year-old punched and robbed near 21st Avenue

A woman, who was walking near 21st Avenue, was attacked and robbed of her phone, Monday afternoon, according to Paterson Police Department.
The victim, 27-year-old, was passing the intersection of Madison Street and 21st Avenue, at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, when the suspect approached her asking to use her phone.
The woman responded complied with the request, and provided him her phone, at which point, the suspect attacked her by punching her in the face, and then fled the scene.
During the robbery no weapons were displayed; the suspect ran off with the victim’s phone.
