A teenager, who was walking home after school, was robbed near 21st Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, according to Paterson Police Department.

The victim, 17-year-old, was walking home on East 24th Street near 21st Avenue, at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, when a gunman approached her, placed the weapon to her skull and demanded her phone. The teenager complied with the request, gave up her cellphone, at which point the gunman fled the scene, taking her phone.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 5’3, weighing about 130 pounds, and wearing a black and blue hoodie,
