Teague: Letter to the students

letter-to-editor-hq

We will soon be approaching the end of the 2013-14 school year. I would like to congratulate all of the students who will be graduating this year. I want to encourage you to keep going.

This is by no means the end of your educational journey. In fact, life is a continual learning process. Be sure to write down all of your goals and dreams going forward. Keep them in a place where you can refer to them as much or as often as you choose to do so.

I want to also encourage you to follow your dreams with every ounce of drive in you. Never allow anyone to convince you that your dreams are too big or out of reach.

How can we accept the sky as being the limit when their are footprints on the moon? You have the right to go as far as you want to go in life. Courage will lead the way. Faith will comfort you and your determination will be the driving force which will propel you onward to ultimate success.

Failing only becomes imminent when we decide to give up. As long as we are motivated enough to keep pressing on, we will eventually reach the goal and or objectives we have set for ourselves. I want to wish you the best of everything.

Go out into the world and make the City of Paterson proud. Education is the key and each of you are holding a piece of the key.
