TD Bank donates $25,000 to Eva’s Village Culinary School program

The culinary program at the Eva’s Village received a $25,000 donation on Thursday courtesy of TD Charitable Foundation.
TD Bank which has branches on Main Street and 21st Avenue uses its foundation to give back to the communities it serves.
“We founded the TD Charitable Foundation in 2002 to give back to the people who are more than just customers to us,” according to the bank’s website.
The foundation issues grants and partners with non-profits like the Eva’s Village, the largest anti-poverty organization in New Jersey, to donate volunteer hours in order to improve and better local communities.
The non-profit launched its culinary program at the beginning of the year to equip the people it serves with marketable job skills.
