Group holding community coat giveaway on Saturday

A city organization is holding a community winter coat giveaway on Saturday, December 13. Families in need of winter coats are encouraged to come out to the McDonald’s located at 485-497 Broadway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
NuSplash.com, the company behind the giveaway, collected coats for the past month by working with local organizations like the New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC), the Salvation Army, and the Broadway McDonald’s restaurant.
The company’s executive director Paula Alford is asking families in possession of unneeded new or gently used clean coats of any size, infant or adult, to donate to help families in need this winter.
Anyone wishing to donate can drop off coats at the following locations:
The Salvation Army
541 West Broadway
Drop off hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Community Charter School of Paterson
75 Spruce Street
Drop off hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
