Sawed off 12 gauge shotgun recovered from Edmund Avenue

Narcotics detectives recovered a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun stashed behind some pipes on Edmund Avenue near Hill Street, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.
Berdnik said a resident provided information that a gun was stashed in the area. Detectives visited the area on Thursday night and located the powerful 12 gauge shot gun with a pistol grip.
Authorities said the shotgun was unloaded during recovery. Berdnik said the shotgun was found near abandoned piping.
