A 21-year-old city man was wounded inside an apartment building on Harrison Street during the evening hours of Wednesday, according to the Paterson Police Department.
The victim was found wounded in the hall of the apartment building which is located on Harrison Street between Rosa Parks Boulevard and Carroll Street at around 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday.
“At this time, it appears that the victim was standing in the interior hallway area of the building when at least two males entered the premises, and the victim was shot,” Patrick Murray, head of the Ceasefire Unit, said.
Murray said the victim was wounded in the lower arm. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. Police said the victim is in stable condition at the hospital.
