Passaic County holding free eye screening for the uninsured

The New Jersey Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired and Passaic County Department of Health plan to host a free eye screening event for individuals without health insurance or who happen to be under insured.

The screenings will be held at the Center City Mall at 301 Main Street (on Level P adjacent to PayHalf) on Thursday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

For appointments residents can call the Passaic County Health Department at (973) 881-4396.

Nice…. have it during working hours so that us, who work and don't' get paid when we miss work….have to miss work to take advantage of this! LOL To those like me who work during normal working hours and can't make this….keep your eye on Groupon, sometimes they offer Groupons for free eye exams and 200 toward glasses, for like $40.
