City police arrested an alleged PCP dealer on Friday evening, said police director Jerry Speziale.
Angel C. Barrientos, 25, was arrested on Paterson Street and Hamilton Avenue at about 8 p.m. on Friday following a narcotics unit investigation.
Barrientos allegedly possessed two ounces of hallucinogenic drug PCP also known as Angel Dust for distribution. The director said Barrientos has been charged with drug possession and distribution.
“This typifies the tireless efforts of our department’s officers in removing dangerous drugs from the streets,” said Speziale.
Barrientos was also charged with intent to distribute drugs in a school zone, said the director.
