Seven city residents have submitted the necessary petitions to get their names on the November 3rd, 2015 school board election ballot.

Incumbents Corey Teague and Errol Kerr will be defending their seats while Manuel Martinez has opted not to defend his seat. Martinez is focusing on capturing the 1st Ward city council seat.

Five challengers Jesus R. Castro, Nakima Redmon, Oshin Castillo, Kevin Michael Henry, and Jason A. Patterson, Sr. have also submitted the 10 needed signatures to get on the ballot.

Kerr is seeking his 4th term on the school board while Teague is seeking his second.
