The Culinary School at Eva’s Village received a boost Thursday from a $20,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation.

Wells Fargo Hudson River west area President Carlos Arroyo and community development officer Tomas Porturas presented the grant check to the culinary school’s award-winning executive chef Darryl Dela Cruz and Eva’s Village executive director Marie Reger.

Opened in 2014, the culinary school is a tuition-assisted culinary training school that assists residents of New Jersey’s largest anti-poverty organization with job training and placement in the food services industry.

Eva’s Village was founded in 1982. The non-profit serves more than 370 hot meals to families and individuals on a daily basis.
