27-year-old Paterson man arrested with 200 bags of heroin

A city man was arrested on drug charges on East 25th Street for having 200 glassine envelopes of heroin late Monday night, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.
Shaheem R. Crawford, 27-year-old, was arrested at around 10:20 p.m. on Monday by the Sheriff’s Bureau of Narcotic with assistance from the Sheriff’s Warrant Squad detectives, authorities said.
Sheriff’s detectives were in the area of East 25th Street and 11th Avenue conducting a surveillance that resulted in Crawford’s arrest.
Crawford was charged with drug offenses, his 2015 Nissan Altima that he was driving was impounded, and he was released on his own recognizance pending future court proceedings, authorities said.
