Paterson to celebrate American-Indian heritage month

The Sandhill Tribe of New Jersey and the Paterson Free Public Library will celebrate the American-Indian heritage month with two events at the Danforth Memorial Library this month.
First of the two events is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. focusing on the legacy of American-Indian veterans with speakers Sam Beeler and Joseph Littlefeather.
The second event is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2015 beginning at 2 p.m. and revolves around American-Indians in New Jersey from yesterday to today. Speakers featured are Tony and Marcy aka “Turtle.”
Both events are open and free to the public. They will take place at the assembly room of Danforth Memorial Library located at 250 Broadway, Paterson, NJ.
