Overwhelming defeat term is a little short sighted when the current projected population of Paterson is over 150,000 people. I think that the Mayor was trying do something good but once again money speaks volumes. We always hear Paterson residents complain about how there is nothing for the kids to do but we don't invest in separate funding for recreation.

After going up on everyones property tax bill, why would Torres even think people are going to be in the mood for another tax increase no matter how small. We barely get any service for the taxes we pay now.
