An alleged city drug dealer was arrested early Thursday morning with a loaded handgun and drugs on Fair Street, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.
Angel Green, 40-year-old, was charged with various drug offenses and weapons charges, Berdnik said.
Green was stopped on Auburn and Fair streets at around 4:50 a.m. by sheriff’s officer Eric Fajardo.
Green was found in possession of 83 glassine envelopes of heroin worth $900 on the street and a loaded .45 caliber Hi-Point model JHP handgun.
“I want to commend Officer Fajardo for his quick action,” Berdnik said. “To get a drug dealer possessing a loaded weapon off the streets is in my opinion a significant arrest.”
