Paterson go-go bar gets 20-day suspension for lewd activity

A downtown Paterson go-go bar received a 20-day suspension for allowing lewd and immoral activity with audience participation.
Cabaret Go-Go bar, located at 50 Cianci Street, was issued the suspension on Wednesday evening by the city’s Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board.
Police officers on July 15th, 2015 found the establishment, also known as El Cabaret, in violation of several ABC laws including operating with no employee sheets, no invoices, according to city records. The establishment also failed to produce a copy of its last-filled ABC application, according to city records.
On August 15th, 2015, the establishment was found undertaking construction without board permission. Officers also found the establishment hosted lewd acts with audience participation at the location, according to city records.
The 20-day suspension begins on December 31st, 2015.
