A known alleged city drug dealer who was walking on Straight Street on Monday morning when he was chased down by two police officers and arrested, said police director Jerry Speziale.

Nathaniel Brunson, 26, was arrested on drug charges after the chase in the corner of Hamilton and Auburn Streets at about 7:15 a.m.

Brunson allegedly had 89 glassines of heroin stamped “ISIS.” Officers S. Marotta and J.  Suarez arrested him and transported him to police headquarters.

Brunson was also charged with resisting arrest, according to police.

“These officers are aware of their surroundings and continue to remove illegal drugs from our streets,” said Speziale.
