Saint Anthony of Padua to make stop at Paterson’s St. Mary’s Church

A religious relic connected with Saint Anthony of Padua will visit St. Mary’s Church on Union Avenue.

Saint Anthony of Padua will visit the church in the form of a precious relic from his basilica in Padua, Italy on Sunday June 18, 2016.

Veneration begins at 12 p.m. Masses will be held at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Spanish. Relic of the saint will be accompanied by a friar from the Messenger of St. Anthony in Padua.

Saint Anthony, considered the patron saint of finding lost things and people, died on June 13, 1231.

St. Mary’s Church is located at 410 Union Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.
