Detectives arrested two people and raided an East 38th Street home in a two-week drug investigation in the area on Wednesday afternoon, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Delroy Wright Jr., 34, of Paterson, and David Boralsky, 33, of Stanhope, were arrested on drug charges, Berdnik said. Authorities said detectives observed Wright exit 503 East 38th Street and approach Boralsky’s black Toyota Tacoma at the intersection of East 38th Street and 20th Avenue.

Wright allegedly had a brief conversation at around 2:30 p.m. and handed Boralsky several items.

Detectives stopped Boralsky as he left the area and seized 40 glassine envelopes of heroin. Wright home was raided. Search of the home yielded 750 bags of heroin, 45 zip-lock baggies of crack cocaine, and $1,363 in suspected drug money, authorities said.

Berdnik said Wright also had $4,609 in outstanding child support payments.

Boralsky was charged and released. Wright is being held at Paterson Police Lockup.
