Paterson pays $8,750 to woman to settle trip and fall case

The city paid out $8,750 to settle a lawsuit filed by a woman who tripped and fell on a city street in 2013, according to city records.
Jacqueline Wyche alleged she tripped and fell on a city street on May 1st, 2013, according to city records. She alleges in the lawsuit she sustained bodily injuries as a result of the trip and fall incident.
Wyche’s claim has been settled with an $8,750 payment. The city council last Tuesday approved the settlement amount.
