Firefighters doused a single-alarm fire early Thursday morning that displaced 13 people, according to deputy fire chief Frank Calamita.

Calamita said fire at the three-story mixed use building began inside the attic at about 11:59 a.m. on Wednesday.

Displaced residents from 29 Park Avenue have been relocated by the American Red Cross, said the deputy fire chief.

The building has two living units and Yaremy Liquor on the bottom storefront.

No one was injured in the blaze, said Calamita.
