Paterson college student receives $2,500 scholarship

A former Passaic County Technical Institute student studying at Wesley College received a $2,500 scholarship.
City resident Doris Tremble received the Matthew C. Sellitto Memorial Fund scholarship at Wesley College’s Founders Day on March 15, the college said.
Tremble (pictured, right; next to Wesley College President, Robert E. Clark II) is sophomore majoring in education.
The scholarship is awarded in memory of Matthew C. Sellitto who was killed in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. He was 23 years old. It is funded by the New Vernon-based Matthew C. Sellitto Foundation which was created by his parents after his death to help young people from economically challenged areas.
