Three people were arrested during a drug raid at a house on East 23rd Street and an assortment of drugs and two handguns were recovered, said police director Jerry Speziale.
Speziale said police raided 572 East 23rd Street on Friday. He said three people — Jamar Haze, James Haze and Marc Banks – were charged with drugs and weapons possession.
Police recovered 27 glassines of heroin, 88 baggies of crack-coacine, 2 jars of marijuana, and a baggie of MDMA, said the director. He said a Smith and Wesson 38 cal. revolver and a 9mm Taurus arms semi-automatic was seized in the raid.
Speziale said the trio was also charged with endangering the welfare of children. Police found a two-year-old and a 5-day-old at the house.
