Paterson drug dealer arrested in Chadwick Street bust, say police

39-year-old Gaspar Vargas was arrested in a drug bust at Chadwick and Weiss Street late Saturday night, said police director Jerry Speziale.
Police seized 45 grams of marijuana, 21 baggies of powdered cocaine, 76 ecstasy pills, and 18 Adderall pills during the bust at Chadwick and Weiss Streets at about 11:30 p.m.
Vargas, who lives on Spring Street, was charged with four drug charges, said police. He has been charged with dealing drugs close to School 8.
Police conducted the drug investigation in the corner following complaints of dealing in the area from residents.
