Paterson woman wounded in 17th Avenue shooting

A city woman was wounded early Sunday morning in a shooting on 17th Avenue, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities said the victim, 29-year-old, was wounded when shots were fired outside of 226 17th Avenue at around 2:56 a.m.
Police responded to report of a shooting in the area, but could not find a victim. Police soon learned a woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound was seeking medical care.
No arrests have been made, authorities said.
