Paterson man wounded in Carroll Street shooting

A city man was rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center early Tuesday morning after he was wounded in a shooting on Carroll Street, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said the victim, 25-year-old, was located when officers responded to report of a shooting outside of 199 Carroll Street at around 2:30 a.m. He sustained a single gunshot wound, authorities said.
Authorities said the man was treated and later released. The shooting remains under investigation.
