Paterson man killed in Godwin Avenue shooting identified

The 28-year-old city man killed in a shooting on Godwin Avenue has been identified as Ramon Mosquea, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Mosquea was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside of 192 Godwin Avenue at around 9:40 p.m. on Monday, authorities said.

Police rushed him to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. He did not survive his injuries.

Mosquea was pronounced dead at 10:10 p.m., authorities said.
