Two city men were wounded in an early Sunday morning shooting on Main Street, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities said the victims, 21 and 27, were struck by gunfire outside of 620 Main Street. The 21-year-old sought treatment at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at around 1:55 a.m., authorities said. A short time later the 27-year-old arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police determined both men were wounded at the same location and at the same time.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-877-370-PCPO or [email protected] or contact the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
