A city man was injured in a non-fatal shooting on Cianci Street early Sunday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victim, 20-year-old, was in the area of Cianci Street between Ellison and Van Houten streets at around 1:38 a.m., when he was struck by gunfire.

Authorities said a passing vehicle fired the shots that struck the victim.

Police said the victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
