18-year-old wounded in Paterson shooting, police say

A teen was hurt in a shooting on Ellison Street early Saturday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said the 18-year-old city man was in the area of Ellison Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard at around 1:58 a.m. when he was struck by gunfire.

The victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center to receive treatment for the non-fatal gunshot wound.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
