The Paterson Rotary Club is putting together 150 hygiene kits for the homeless of Passaic County.

Kits will contain oral hygiene, skin care, and hair care supplies. Other items include clothing like socks and hats.

The kits will be donated to the Paterson Task Force for distribution during the January “Point-in-Time” count of the county’s homeless population. Some kits will be donated to the New Hope Christian Ministries in North Haledon for the needy.

Members of the Paterson Rotary Club collected the supplies over the past two months with help from the Park Ridge Rotary Club and members of the Wayne YMCA.

The Paterson Rotary Club was founded in 1913, one of the oldest clubs in the world. There are more than 28,000 Rotary clubs throughout the planet.
