A city man was injured in a shooting outside of School 10 on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.

The victim, 23-year-old, was shot on Mercer Street at around 4:20 p.m., according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police received report of more than half-dozen shots fired in the area of 48 Mercer Street. Officers located a crime scene, but could not find a victim.

Moments later, the victim arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
