Three people were injured in a shooting on Keen Street early Friday evening, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities said two city men and a juvenile were shot in the area of Keen Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard at around 7:43 p.m.

Eliminate the current police force and eliminate the current government in Paterson and only.then will real change occur

The government and the police arent the problem, its the people. I am sure if we brought in the mayor and cops from Woodcliff Lake the same problems would occur….Unless you want to bring in Duterte but then dont cry when an innocent member of your family is exterminated.

You might not understand the current Police force/government in Paterson or you are in fact a part of the problem. Guiliani didn't go around exterminating people. A police force that looks the other way is not normal. A police force that is not respected is not normal. Of course arrest are made, problem here is police (all) need to take a harder stance and with the current government and population in Paterson this doesn't happen. Are there police that do a fine job in Paterson? Yes. Problem is so many dont.

        • MarquinhoGaucho

not Guiliani , Duterte of the Philippines. The Police here do take a tough stand and Sayegh has been about cleaning up Paterson every since he was a councilman. How many summonses, arrests have been made since he came in? I think the cops do a fine job the problem is that they are understaffed in a city so big. Ever get into an accident? I waited an hour and a half for an officer…luckily another one passed by and took our report even though he wasnt sent.

          • John

Yes they are under staffed. However when you have some officers hanging out talking in some.parking lot.for over an hour and not responding to calls, this doesn't help. I had a tenant who was burglarized and waited for over 3 hours with no response. And then officer responded with an attitude, claiming why call of you didn't see who did it.

tHEN YOU HAVE A VALID POINT.
