Three city men were apprehended for allegedly trying to distribute 650 glassine envelopes of heroin in Lodi and Elmwood Park, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said on Tuesday afternoon.

Xavier M. Classen, 30; Juan Carlos Regalado, 19; and Ernesto Regalado, 23, each have been charged with drug offenses.

Classen is charged with possession and distribution of heroin; Juan Carlos Regalado with possession and distribution of heroin and cocaine; and Regalado with marijuana possession, authorities said.

Authorities said Classen sold 150 glassine envelopes of heroin in bricks to an undercover detective in Lodi. He and Juan Carlos Regalado tried to distribute another 500 glassine envelopes of heroin and 20 grams of cocaine in Elmwood Park.

Ernesto Regalado was present at the scene and had marijuana in his possession, authorities said.

The Regalados are scheduled to appear before a judge in Hackensack on Wednesday. Classen has been turned over to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated outstanding warrant, authorities said.
